The redfish bite at the jetties has been on fire.   We have had awsome catches of some big bull redfish.  Been getting some good slot fish also.  Also have had some tarpon hooked up and all kinds of sharks.  Stout tackle is a must with reels loaded up with sixty-five pound braid.  I like using the Fins brand of braid.  Terminal tackle is a three to four ounce bank weight and a slide swivel, sixty pound leader tied to a 7/0 kahle hook.  Bait being used is pogies, mullet and whiting.  The fish have been holding in the eighteen to twenty-feet of water just off the jetties.
